How Do I participate in the Token Sale?

The ZAP token is an ERC-20 token issued on the Ethereum blockchain automatically by a smart contract. That means in order to participate in the Zap Project token sale you must have ETH (Ethereum's native token) to exchange in return for ZAP tokens.

You can purchase ETH using your bank account or credit card on a digital currency exchange such as Coinbase or Gemini. If you already have Bitcoin, you can easily exchange your Bitcoin for ETH using sites such as Shapeshift.io. (Neither Zap nor its affiliates endorse or recommend any particular third-party service, and you assume the risks of using those services).

Once the token sale begins and you have ETH ready to exchange for ZAP, you simply send ETH to the token sale smart contract.

Do not send ETH directly from an exchange! You must use a wallet that supports token balances (exchange wallets do not support tokens) such as MyEtherWallet.

We will upload a detailed guide on how to use MyEtherWallet before the token sale starts.
